How to calculate percentage on the basis of marks?
Parameters required:
Your NEET score
NEET score of the topper of that particular year
Formula:
NEET percentage = (Your NEET score X 100) / NEET score of the topper of the year
For instance if student X has obtained 450 marks in NEET and the NEET score of the topper of the year is 550, now the percentage of Student X
(450 X 100)/550 = 81.81
How to calculate percentage based on the rank?
Parameters required:
Your NEET rank
Number of candidates appeared for NEET exam on that year
Formula:
(Total appearing candidates – Rank secured)/ Total appearing candidates X 100
For instance, if student X has obtained 9th rank in NEET exam and the total candidates appeared for NEET on that year is 800000
(800000 – 9)/80000200 X 100 = 99.99
